Alecia & Jordan | Holland, MI Engagement Photographer

Alecia and Jordan are such an adorable couple. The entire shoot you could see their love for each other. They seem like the couple that is always laughing together. We had a few ideas for engagement pictures but when I found out Jordan surprised Alecia with a proposal at Holland State Park I knew that is where we had to go. I was expecting a lot of snow but much to our surprise it was a sunny warm February day. We walked along the shore and pier up to the very bench Jordan proposed. I’m super excited to photograph their July 1st wedding. Enjoy!

Tyler & Jessica | Mt. Pleasant, MI Engagement Photographer

Meet Tyler and Jessica. I met these two at Island Park in Mt. Pleasant on a Fall October day. Luckily the colors were still in full bloom for most of the park. Jessica is a fellow CMU Alum and was even on the softball team. FIRE UP CHIPS! I’m super excited to shoot their June 23rd wedding as Mt. Pleasant is near and dear to my heart. Brooke & Justin | Detroit, MI Engagement Photographer

Meet Brooke and Justin! These two are getting married on June 8, 2012. Brooke found me through her previous coworker, Erin (engagement session from a few posts ago). Love word of mouth. So excited to spend the day creating memories from their wedding. First, check out their engagement pictures! I thought it was pretty funny that Brooke and Erin both chose the same locations for their pictures without even knowing at first. What a better challenge for me! After the weather finally cooperated with us and a couple of reschedules we were able to spend the morning in downtown Detroit and Belle Isle. It was a really great day. I love photographing all these pretty little bride-to-be’s in the D. Enjoy!

Matt & Laurie | Lake Orion, MI Wedding Photographer

Matt and Laurie had a beautiful wedding at Paint Creek Country Club in Lake Orion. Laurie had the most beautiful dress I have ever seen. It was the most fun and energized reception I’ve been to. As soon as the DJ turned up the music and asked everyone to get on the floor EVERYONE went. He was by far the  best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding. There are some pretty gem’s as far as the dancing pics go! Especially the older man on the floor breakdancing. My cousin even caught the garter and had to put it on Matt’s mom. Too good. Too dirty. Poor Matt. Matt and Laurie are a great couple. They just closed on their first home together!  Congratulations to them and the beautiful life they will share. Enjoy!

Eaves Family | Richmond, MI Family Photographer

The Eaves ladies, Marie, Linda, Ann and Lisa grew up with my mom. Ann is now actually my aunt after my mom and her married brothers. It was a pleasure to photograph my family and psuedo family. Christmas Lights

My stepdad’s favorite thing to do is decorate our house for Christmas. You can literally see it a mile away. We’ve entered the Home Depot Wonderhome Contest. Allen & Erin | Detroit, MI Engagement Photographer

Say hello to Allen and Erin! I met them at Allen’s sister Laurie’s wedding (Those photos are coming soon). They were such a fun couple to spend the morning with. We started off at Belle Isle and then headed to downtown Detroit. These two places have quickly become my favorite places to photograph. Allen and Erin are getting married next year in Chicago. I was lucky enough to capture their engagement pictures. They plan on using them on wine bottles! How fun! Enjoy!

Carlos & Emily Guzman | Indiana, Wedding Photographer

Emily and Carlos are good friends of mine. I’m not sure these photos do justice to how great they are together. I only hope my relationship with Jason can be as successful as theirs. They were married on August 13, 2011 at Sacred Heart Church in Wanatah, IN and the reception was at County Line Orchard in Hobart, IN. We had gorgeous weather for the first part of the day. Once we were done with family photos and headed to the reception it turned for the worse. I’m not sure I’ve driven in a crazier storm. (This was the same day the stage fell at the Indiana State Fair) They were so great handling things as they came with the weather turning bad and my flash breaking. (major bummer on my part) Luckily, the weather calmed down enough for us to head out to the beautiful orchard to get some wedding party pictures. Despite all the bad things trying to get in the way, this was one of the prettiest weddings I shot this season. They had so much style. If I were getting married I’m pretty sure mine would look just like this. There was so much thought that went into this wedding. Each moment was a true attribute to who Emily and Carlos are. Emily and Carlos were simply the happiest bride and groom I’ve seen so far.  Enjoy!

Aaron & Kaylen | Port Huron, MI Wedding Photographer

Kaylen and Aaron were married in Port Huron on a very hot July day. (I’ve been missing on the blog. I’ll be the first to admit) Kaylen was one of the most beautiful brides I’ve seen. That’s no surprise though. I’ve known Kaylen since we were little as she is my sisters best friend from grade school. This couple is crazy fun and they compliment each other so well. Aaron is ridiculously hilarious. They had the best garter moment I’ve seen at a wedding yet. You’ll see the sequence below between her bridesmaid and his dad. Too good. Enjoy!
